Kelsey’s Dream is collecting aluminum pull-tabs (or aluminum cans). If your school, service organization, church, business or any individual would like to collect them for us, it would be greatly appreciated.
What do you do with the pull-tabs?
We take the pull-tabs to a local recycling center, where they are weighed and redeemed for cash per pound. This money goes directly into our main operating fund to support our mission of Helping Children in Need. These funds help support our programs. Besides supporting our mission, collecting pull-tabs for recycling is an environmentally friendly practice as well!
How can I help?
Just start collecting! Pop pull-tabs off every soda, soup and food can; once you have collected a substantial number, you can drop them off at Art of Living Design Studio, 120 Walnut St, Mifflinburg, PA. Be sure to get everyone in your family, place of business and community involved.
What type of container should I use?
Please use containers that are easy for us to open and empty at the recycling center. Cardboard boxes and sturdy plastic bags are ideal. Please do not use water cooler jugs or plastic milk jugs – they are very difficult to open.
How can I turn in the pull-tabs I have collected?
Drop them off at our local drop off location – Art of Living Design Studio, 120 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg
Mail them to us in a package – Kelsey’s Dream, 936 Brouse Road, Mifflinburg, PA 17844
Take the pull-tabs directly to a recycling center and mail us a check payable to Kelsey’s Dream.
We prefer this last option, which frees us of the responsibility of storing, transporting and cashing in the large quantities of pull-tabs we receive. If you need help finding a recycling center, please email us at email@example.com, for information.
Note: We are accepting aluminum cans to recycle too.
